Luke Ramsey

A note to self I Suppose.

With time and age my vision gets a bit clearer. I'm not good with sticking to things because I choose to do them for all the wrong reasons. I believe in this and in time it will be one of my greatest acomplishments. Have you ever wanted something so bad? Things I used to see as dreams are actually in my possible reach and it has my mind working in overtime. I excited to see what progress will be made in time. For now though, I just hope to have the people close to me support what i'm doing, although at this point in my head i'm stubborn and would probably care to much if they didn't either. Hopefully with patience comes progress.

Love & Light.

Dangermouse + Sparklehorse Album

Nobody else has to be excited about this but I know I am. Im a Dangermouse die hard fan to the extreme. I was gunna post this a while ago, but I never got around to it.

Danger Mouse and Mark Linkous of Sparklehorse announced almost three years ago that they would be working together on a new collaborative project, but as of yesterday, when a poster for the project was delivered to our offices, it looks like the duo of “Dangerhorse” are engaging a wide spectrum of talent to help out on the new record.

Dark Night of the Soul is set to come out this summer, and though no further information on the album has been offered, the list of special guests — released only via the poster — makes the new project look like it could be one of the most eclectic collaborations we’ve seen in a long while.

Featuring Black Francis, Julian Casablancas, The Flaming Lips, Iggy Pop, David Lynch, and James Mercer, among a bunch of others, Dark Night of the Soul is bound to offer us an immense amount of ear-candy come the summer. And lets face it, who needs supergroups like Chickenfoot when you’ve got the likes of Dangerhorse giving you all of this and more on one awesome album?

Come On Feet x The Unseen

I really never listened to the Unseen until ZPRM, featured it in her albums, It was actually my first opportunity to actually watch the infamous "Fantastic Planet" aka La Planete Sauvage, but anyways the track "Come on Feet" From Quas, features samples from the film, I recommend watching FP though, its an amazing film.

Keri Hilson x Ye x Neyo

So, I randomly turn on the t.v. and see this video, it's actually a really good song and the video is to the point, but the last video I saw w. Keri Hilson also featured her w. YE and he was all over her, and it kinda.....Made me throw up in my mouth a little bit. I don't find him attractive...not a bit.

Aids Rate In Dc Rivals Africa

So for the past few days i've bveen chatting with a friend from the past and we have been discussing how this season seems to be "booty call season". Individuals don't relationships in the 09, they just want to get their super bootie calls on. OOOOOOOOOWEE. Not cool. With the nations capital's aids rate being 3% it beats Nigeria,Ghana, and Gambia, and its almost tripple the worlds aids rate. Like seriously what's going on DC?
Among minorities, the numbers are even more disturbing, with four percent of African Americans and two percent of Hispanics in DC currently suffering from the disease. Another interesting statistic is age-based: almost 10 percent of people between 40 and 49 are HIV positive. Perhaps most frightening, these numbers are based only on Washingtonians who have gotten tested for the virus. Given that only 60 percent of respondents knew their AIDS status and only 30 percent claimed to have used a condom the last time they had sex, it seems likely that the true infection statistics are higher.

People out here are so convinced that they can't be that person, but when reality sets in we could all be that person. Be safe and retain knowledge, because this shit is serious, and epidemic.

Sugar Craft Spring 09 +_+ Formely Cake

To be honest I think they could have did way better with this collection, but i'll let them make up for it in later seasons.
